About

Photographer Alyssa Hudson-Petrik is a native of Fort Scott, Kansas and a graduate of Fort Scott High School, where she first began to pursue her interest in photography. After developing her skills in film, with a specific emphasis on black and white images, she has transitioned into the latest technology of digital photography.

While attending Baker University and majoring in Art History, she was heavily involved in the art department and continued to add to her skills, including matting and framing. During this time, she also served as director of Art Affair in Baldwin City, Kansas. These experiences enable Alyssa to give her photos a unique, artistic flare.

After graduating from Baker University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, she opened her studio, Alyann Photography, in Gardner, Kansas. Currently, Alyssa is a member of the Kansas Professional Photographers Association and is actively involved in the Gardner Chamber of Commerce.
